After a few weeks away for various reasons, Ashley Richardson is back with a new episode of SNS Sticks & Flicks. Given that it’s been over a month since the last show, there’s a lot of news that has to be covered. On the gaming front, Cliffy B has set up a new studio and revealed a new game, Alien Isolation gets some great-looking pre-order DLC, Crytek looks to be in trouble despite the recent Homefront announcement, Civilization: Beyond Earth gets a release date, Sniper Elite 3 Steam keys stolen, the developers of Murdered: Soul Suspect are shut down, Octodad will be getting FREE DLC this summer, FREE games for you to pick up on your Sony & Microsoft consoles and much more.

Part 2 opens with tributes to the passing of Francis Matthews (voice of Captain scarlet), Casey Kasem, Eli Wallich & Tommy Ramone. The movie & entertainment news following, includes Better Call Saul being delayed, commissioned for a second season and set before, during & after Breaking Bad, the Emmy nominations have been announced, Paramount has a lot of big movies coming in 2015 and 2016, Scooby Doo looks to be getting a movie reboot, lots of talents are in talks for the Coen’s Hail Caesar!, Community is heading to Yahoo and Sherlock gets a 4th season and a Christmas special. There’s also reviews of the RSC’s live broadcast of the theatre production of Henry IV Part 2, drama Mr Morgan’s Last Love, the craziness of 22 Jump Street and the beautiful and touching Frank, with Michael Fassbender.

The final part has Ashley rounding off the World Cup coverage with a ‘Sticks & Kicks’ segment, covering the last of the group games, the knockout stages of the tournament (including THAT semi-final), the Luis Suarez controversy, Ghanaian players getting in trouble and, of course, PornHub and certain issues with some users.
