Live results for WWE Raw 12/10/12

It’s time for another Raw and with less than 1 week until the TLC PPV, what will go down tonight in the run up? Will there be a face-off between CM Punk & Vince McMahon over the champion’s injury meaning he’s out of the event? Will Sheamus or Big Show be able to get momentum building up to their World Heavyweight Championship match? And will Dolph Ziggler be prepared for one of his biggest matches of the year as he takes on Cena on Sunday for his MITB briefcase? Keep it here to find out…

As ever, we start with the ‘Previously on…’ video package.

Dolph Ziggler is in the ring surrounded by ladders saying that he’s going to spoil Cena’s Christmas celebrations by winning their ladder match at TLC in 6 days, and continue on and cash in the briefcase on Big Show and win the World Heavyweight Title. He says all this while climbing up a ladder in the ring. Sheamus then comes to the ring, saying that he shouldn’t worry about cashing in on Big Show as he’ll be the champion at TLC. Sheamus also thinks that Cena will win the briefcase. Big Show then interrupts them both on the stage saying they’re both wrong. Sheamus then says he’d love to take on Show tonight, but due to the no contact clause they signed last week, he’ll take someone else out instead. He then push the ladder over with Ziggler still on it and Ziggler falls to the floor.

Later on, Big Show is going to be taking on John Cena. But backstage, Vince McMahon is backstage and it looks like he’s making a beeline for the ring next.

Kofi Kingston & Antonio Cesaro are at the commentator table and Wade Barrett in the ring. CUE Vince McMahon! He’s out hyping the Cena vs. Show main event for tonight, then brings out Vickie Guerrero. He manipulates Vickie to set up some bonus main events with Sheamus going to take on Dolph Ziggler and then she proposes AJ to have a handicap match. Vince agrees that she should be in a match but that it should be a one-on-one match with… Vickie Guerrero. Vickie is in shock with this. R-Truth then makes his entrance and it looks like our first match is set to get underway.

Match 1 – Wade Barrett vs. R-Truth
Very quick match as R-Truth gets the victory.
WINNER – R-Truth

R-Truth gets in Cesaro’s face as Kofi goes to the top of the turnbuckle and splashes Wade Barrett, clearly both guys sending messages to their respective opponents for Sunday.

Next up, we’ve got a fatal 4-way elimination tag team match. I’m guessing that the winners will get a shot at Team Hell No’s Tag Team Titles at some point in the future.

Back from break, and AJ is ecstatic at finally being able to get her hands on Vickie, so she asks Aksana & Kaitlyn on the whereabouts of Cena. He’s in the guys locker room and bursts in, catching some of the locker room off guard, Cena’s pleased but recommends for the sake of the other guys, that they should go somewhere else and they leave the locker room, Cena mouthing ‘sorry’ to the guys for letting her walk in like she did.

Back to the ring and the Primetime Players, Primo & Epico (without Rosa Mendez) and The Usos are in the ring. Damien Sandow’s music hits and Cody Rhodes is BACK!! Great to see him after that brutal injury a few weeks back.

Match 2 – Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match – The Primetime Players (Darren Young & Titus O’Neil) vs. Primo & Epico vs. The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes)
Primo & Epico get eliminated first when on of the Usos hits a splash on them. They come back from break and the Primetime Players have also been eliminated by the Usos, this time with a splash with a little boost from the brothers. The match finishes with the Usos going for another splash, but Cody gets his knees up and then hits Cross Rhodes for the win.
WINNERS – Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow)

It sounds like this win gets them to take on Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara at TLC. Kane & Daniel Bryan are obviously taking on the Shield next Sunday. The winners of Team Rhodes Scholars and Mysterio & Cara will become number one contenders to the tag titles at TLC.

They hype up the triple main events, with Vickie vs. AJ, Sheamus vs. Ziggler & Cena vs. Show. They cut to Alicia Fox & Eve Torres walking separately backstage, so it looks like they’re going one-on-one next.

Advert for the Slammys for next week and for the first time ever, every award will be voted on with WWE Active, so voting will only be though the WWE smartphone apps. So that’s me out then… Anyway, Alicia is already in the ring and Eve makes her way out next.

Match 3 – Alicia Fox vs. Eve Torres
Quick little match. Eve gets the win with her backbreaker finisher.
WINNER – Eve Torres

After the match, Eve gets one of WWE’s ringside photographers in the ring to get her to take pics of her victory.

CM Punk is backstage on his crutches, Paul Heyman behind carrying his belt and Punk is set to speak next in the ring about how he’s doing.

Punk is out now and says how some people think that this surgery is fake and a way out of facing Ryback. He says this is what you expect with continuous working as WWE champion for 388 days, you should expect to get injured. He they shows a clip of when he got injured, last week by Ryback’s attack. The crowd chant ‘Feed Me More’ and Paul Heyman isn’t happy with this, he then talks about him not having a stunt double like, The Rock. Clearly they’re already hyping for the Royal Rumble. He adds that Punk is going nowhere as he’s the best in the world and will stay WWE Champion.

Punk then addresses how some people think he should be stripped of the WWE title, bringing up the people he’s beaten over his reign and adds that The Rock will also be on that list come the Royal Rumble.

Cole & Lawler then remind eveyone of the rescheduled main event for TLC, with The Shield set to take on Ryback & Team Hell No in a TLC match, with the decision by pinfall or submission only.

They then do a recap of the Vickie announcements and the upcoming main events. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus is up next.

Back from break and Sheamus is making his way to the ring, followed by Dolph Ziggler.

Match 4 – Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler
Very good match here between these two. Match ends with both guys on the outside and Ziggler picks up a chair and hits Sheamus with it, leading to a DQ
WINNER by DQ – Sheamus

Ziggler then hits him with the chair again but on his third attempt, Sheamus manages to get rid of the chair from Ziggler’s hands by giving the chair a Brogue Kick.

Next, a reminder of AJ vs. Vickie & Cena vs. Show for later tonight.

Vickie is warming up with stretches backstage with Hornswoggle and The Great Khali in not quite so appropriate positions. Vince then comes in and simply says ‘I thought this was a family show…’ and walks out.

They now show the guerrila-style video from last week of The Shield explaining their actions.

Ricardo Rodriguez is in the ring and Alberto makes his way to the ring from his BMW. He’s in action next.

Back from break and Alberto’s opponent is… Zack Ryder. Methinks I already know who’s going to win.

Match 5 – Alberto Del Rio vs. Zack Ryder
Decent length of match for Ryder, but Del Rio gets the submission win with the Cross Arm Breaker.
WINNER – Alberto Del Rio

Reminder of the WWE App, which is required to vote on next week’s Slammy awards.

AJ is skipping backstage and looks like she’s coming to the ring for her match with Vickie next.

Back from break, and AJ is coming down to the ring followed by Vickie Guerrero. However, there’s no referee in the ring yet. And then, Brad Maddox comes out. Yes, he’s back. Again. He gets this match underway.

Match 6 – AJ Lee vs. Vickie Guerrero
AJ eventually cracks and goes crazy on Vickie. She goes for the pinfall, but Brad Maddox doesn’t count. AJ then gets in his face, only for Vickie to roll her up and get the 3-count from Maddox.
WINNER – Vickie Guerrero

Vickie goes skipping up the ramp and AJ goes into a mega tantrum ringside, even slapping Justin Roberts in the face. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Back from break and AJ is still getting mad backstage. John Cena comes in to make her relax and consoles her, whist looking a little shocked by her reactions.

Back in the arena and Kofi Kingston is now making his way to the ring. Antonio Cesaro makes his way out next, cutting a cheap heat promo on the crowd and how he’ll come out on top at TLC against R-Truth.

Match 7 – Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro
Kofi goes for a leap from the top only for Cesaro to catch him and gave him a tilt and whirl backbreaker. He then hit the Neutralizer for the win.
WINNER – Antonio Cesaro

Next up is the return of MizTV, with Team Rhodes Scholars as his guests.

MizTV is on and the Rhodes Scholars (or as Miz call them ‘The Beard & The Weird’) come out, unimpressed by The Miz. Lots of banter between the guys with references to Cody Rhodes’s moustache. Sandow feels that this is all beneath him, but then interestingly Miz keeps bringing up how Sandow never visited Cody while he was recuperating from his injury and how he was carrying the team and not Cody. Cody says that he’s heard enough and they both leave. As both guys are gone from the stage, Miz then formally thanks them as ‘The Pink And The Stink’. Nice little segment here, showing all three guys are very proficient on the mic.

AJ backstage with Cena and she wants to join him at ringside, he says it’s best that she stays back and he makes his way to the ring it seems for our main event.

They now announce the pre-show for TLC as a Santa’s Helper Divas Battle Royal for the #1 contendership for the Divas title.

Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he sits at the commentary table for this match. John Cena’s music then hits (one girl in the crowd is massively crying at the sight of Cena) and he makes his way to the ring. Big Show then makes his way down.

Match 8 – John Cena vs. Big Show
